![]() My three big kids have asked for money because they are all saving for something bigger – a kindle, a desk, an electric piano – things they know they could not ask a single person to give them, things they have researched, and considered, and been saving for all year. I know it might seem cliche, and boring, and perhaps even a little rude, that tweens and teens often ask for money or vouchers, but if you take a little time to talk to them about why they are asking for those things, you might find out some interesting facts. ![]() ![]() When you ask my tweens and teens what they want for Christmas the list is a lot shorter… “Angry birds sticker book, a hat with cows on it, something fun for the pool, new textas, and swimming lessons.” When you ask my youngest child what he wants for Christmas he rattles off a list of fun things…
